Job summary

Outcomes First Group is seeking a Waking Night Care Worker at Falkland House School Perth, delivering overnight support to young people with autism and complex needs. The role involves creating a safe, therapeutic overnight environment across the main and throughcare accommodations.

You will support routines, wellbeing and independence, remaining awake throughout the night to ensure safety and respond to individual needs.

Qualifications

• Calm, patient and resilient under pressure.
• Compassionate, caring and approachable.
• Willingness to work towards Scottish Social Services Council registration.

Responsibilities

• Providing overnight care and support in a calm, therapeutic manner.
• Creating a safe, structured and reassuring environment for young people.
• Supporting independence, routines and wellbeing overnight.
• Building positive relationships based on trust and understanding.
• Working collaboratively with colleagues to provide consistent support.
• Monitoring wellbeing and responding appropriately to individual needs.
• Promoting safety, safeguarding and positive outcomes at all times.
