Outcomes First Group, operating through Options Autism, seeks a Senior Residential Care Worker in Closeburn, Dumfriesshire. Lead and support a team to deliver high-quality care for children and young people with autism and complex needs, helping them build confidence and independence.

You’ll combine hands-on care with leadership duties, ensuring a safe, nurturing environment and consistent records while advancing your career in residential childcare.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years’ supervisory experience.
• Full UK Driving Licence required.
• Willingness to work towards SVQ in Social Services (Children and Young People).

Responsabilités

• Supporting children and young people with daily routines and personal development.
• Administering medication safely and in line with procedures.
• Leading, supporting and mentoring Residential Care Workers to maintain high care standards.
• Supporting young people to attend appointments, activities and community opportunities.
• Completing accurate care records and documentation.
• Promoting independence and essential life skills.
• Maintaining safeguarding, wellbeing and person-centred care.
• Supporting the Deputy Manager with team leadership.

HNC in Social Care, SVQ in Social Services (Children and Young People) SCQF 7
