Potens is recruiting a dedicated Support Worker for Westward in Dawlish. The role includes medication administration, personal care support, meal preparation, and keeping care plans up to date.

You will work between 8 am and 8 pm, with weekends and bank holidays required, and participate in ongoing learning opportunities. Qualifications

• Caring and compassionate approach to supporting adults with learning disabilities and mental health needs.
• Able to work in a team and support colleagues.
• Motivated with a positive, proactive attitude.
• Previous experience with challenging behaviours is preferred but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Participate in activities planned for the people we support.
• Administer medications according to care plans.
• Assist with personal care, domestic tasks, meal prep and updating internal systems.
• Review care plans and contribute to monthly reports and risk assessments.
