Job summary

Potens is hiring a Support Worker for the Westward residential service in Dawlish, Devon, supporting seven individuals with learning disabilities and mental health needs. The role requires shift patterns from 8am to 8pm, weekend/bank holiday work, and occasional sleep-ins or waking nights.

Westward is a residential service located in Dawlish, Devon, for 7 individuals with learning disabilities with associated mental health needs and behaviours that can challenge. Our service provides both long and short-term residential care.

What you’ll be doing:

• Taking part in the chosen activities of the people we support.
• The role will involve assisting with personal care, domestic support, preparing meals, updating our internal systems, reviewing care plans, risk assessments, and monthly reports.
• Shift times are between the hours of 8 am and 8 pm. Weekend and Bank holiday working is required.
• Sleep ins and Waking Nights may be required at times.
• To be discussed at Interview / Next stage depending on experience.
