Job summary

Potens is offering part-time and bank Support Worker roles at Regents Park in Exeter. You will provide proactive and compassionate care to adults with learning disabilities, autism, and physical needs, working shifts from 9 am to 9 pm.

Opportunities include part-time hours (16–24 per week, alternating weekends) or Bank hours, with strong development and pension benefits. Full training is provided, including NVQ levels 2–5 in Health & Social Care, care certificates, and access to staff discounts

Qualifications

• Aptitude and commitment to social care for adults.
• Flexible with a can-do attitude.
• Motivated team player; care experience preferred but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide proactive, flexible, positive and caring support to adults living in the service.
• Help adults learn new skills toward living more independently.
• Support emotional and practical needs of individuals.
• Work as part of a team with a can-do attitude.
• Contribute to developing and implementing person-centred care plans.
• Support adults with learning disabilities and autism; provide personal care.
