Potens is recruiting a dedicated Support Worker for Westward in Dawlish. The role includes medication administration, personal care support, meal preparation, and keeping care plans up to date.

You will work between 8 am and 8 pm, with weekends and bank holidays required, and participate in ongoing learning opportunities. Westward is a residential service located in Dawlish, Devon, for 7 individuals with learning disabilities with associated mental health needs and behaviours that can challenge. Our service provides both long and short-term residential care.

What you’ll be doing:

• Taking part in the chosen activities of the people we support.
• Administering medication.
• The role will involve assisting with personal care, domestic support, preparing meals, updating our internal systems, reviewing care plans, risk assessments, and monthly reports.
• Shift times are between the hours of 8 am and 8 pm. Weekend and Bank holiday working is required.
• Sleep ins and Waking Nights may be required at times.
