Job summary

Jupiter Recruitment is seeking a committed Support Worker for a residential children’s care home in the Manchester area. The role involves delivering 3:1 or 4:1 person-centred support, assisting with personal care, mobility and daily living needs while upholding dignity and privacy.

You’ll provide emotional support, monitor wellbeing and follow safeguarding procedures to ensure safe, consistent care. Ideal candidates will have NVQ/QCF Level 2 or 3 in Health & Social Care (Desirable) and previous

Qualifications

• Candidate must have NVQ/QCF Level 2 or 3 in Health & Social Care (Desirable).
• Experience in roles providing care and support to individuals with complex needs is beneficial.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities essential for building trust with individuals and families.

Responsibilities

• Provide 3:1 or 4:1 person-centred support within the home
• Assist with personal care, mobility, medication and daily living needs while maintaining dignity and privacy
• Provide emotional support and companionship, encouraging independence and individual choice
• Support with behaviours following care plans and positive behaviour support approaches
• Monitor wellbeing, maintain accurate care records and follow safeguarding procedures to ensure safe, consistent care
