Jupiter Recruitment is seeking a committed Support Worker for a residential children’s care home in the Malvern, Worcestershire area. You will provide person-centred care, support with daily living, and emotional support to help individuals maintain independence and dignity.

The role includes days and nights, 36–48 hours per week, with a competitive salary and benefits. Experience in complex care is desirable, with NVQ/QCF Level 3 in Health & Social Care preferred.

Qualifications

• Demonstrates ability to provide person-centred support and maintain trust.
• Shows patience and compassionate approach in challenging days.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with individuals and families.
• Ability to build professional, trusting relationships with individuals and their families.

Responsabilités

• Provide 3:1 or 4:1 person-centred support within the home.
• Assist with personal care, mobility, medication and daily living needs while maintaining dignity and privacy.
• Provide emotional support and companionship, encouraging independence and individual choice.
• Support with behaviours that may challenge, following care plans and positive behaviour support approaches.
• Monitor wellbeing, maintain accurate care records and follow safeguarding procedures.
