Job summary

Orchard Court Care Home in Brigg is seeking a Care Assistant Nights to join a mission- and values-led team. You will support residents with personal care and daily activities, focusing on dignity, independence, and wellbeing.

• NVQ Level 2 or equivalent
• Written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• You’ll join our team of dedicated Care Assistants to provide the highest possible level of care in supporting and assisting our residents in all aspects of daily living, including providing personal care and support with daily activities such as washing, dressing and eating.
• You’ll be responsible for promoting our resident's independence with a focus on choice, dignity and respect, alongside promoting their physical and emotional wellbeing.
• You’ll complete all Daily Charts to a high standard, ensuring that 90% and above is achieved during all Monthly Daily Charts Audits.
• Ensure you are 100% current with all your mandatory training throughout the year.

*Team Members under 21 will be paid at £1.00 per hour less, which is significantly above National Minimum Wage guidelines for this age group*

About Orchard Court Care Home

Orchard Court is located near the centre of Brigg.The home is set around a former coaching inn whichhas been selectively extended in keeping with its character.This provides the homeliness that Jasmine seeks for its homes, whilst still providing modern living accommodation.The home provides personal care including dementia care for 39 residents.
