Job summary

Priory Group is recruiting a Chef for Cleveland House in Banks, Southport. This is a full-time, 40-hour role with a salary of £29,328 per year. The post involves planning, cooking and serving meals while ensuring dietary needs are met and safety standards are maintained.

You will supervise catering support staff, manage stock and invoices, and develop menus aligned with healthy eating guidelines. The setting supports residents with complex health needs in a residential environment.

Qualifications

• Experience preparing and cooking meals in a professional kitchen.
• NVQ2 or equivalent and basic food hygiene qualification.
• Strong communication skills to instruct junior staff.
