Job summary

Priory Tudor House is seeking a dedicated Support Worker to join our Residential Addictions Service in Tudor House, Tudors area. The role emphasizes building relationships, providing practical and emotional support, and promoting recovery for residents in a welcoming community.

Shifts include 7am–7pm, with some nights, on a 3 long-day rota. You will work closely with clients and colleagues to deliver person-centred support, maintain notes, and help create a safe environment while encouraging

Qualifications

• Experience in care or support roles is useful, but not required.
• Strong communication and ability to build rapport while maintaining professional boundaries.
• Patience, resilience and a calm, caring approach to support people toward goals.

Responsibilities

• Build positive relationships with clients and help them feel part of the Tudor House community.
• Support daily routines, activities and living tasks, encouraging participation and independence.
• Provide individual support through keyworking, helping clients set and review goals.
• Work with the team to provide consistent, person-centred support.
• Maintain accurate daily notes and contribute to plans and routine administration.
• Help maintain a safe, welcoming environment, protecting dignity and confidentiality.
