Job summary

Priory Tudor House, located in rural Northamptonshire, is recruiting an Addictions Therapist to join a new residential service. This site-based role offers full-time hours (37.5 per week) with an accreditation pathway and salary bands based on status.

Start dates from late November 2026, with opening planned for January 2027. You will join Flourish, Priory’s therapy-led addiction programme, delivering assessments and interventions for substance misuse within a supported community.

Qualifications

• A relevant therapeutic qualification and current registration with a recognised professional body.
• Accreditation or willingness to work towards this during the first year.
• Experience delivering therapeutic interventions for substance misuse and addictive behaviours.
• Confidence facilitating individual and group therapy using evidence-based approaches.
• Strong assessment, risk management, care planning and clinical record-keeping skills.
• Excellent communication and collaborative working skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver evidence-based assessments and therapeutic interventions for people experiencing substance misuse and addictive behaviours.
• Facilitate individual therapy, group sessions and psychoeducational workshops, supporting clients to build resilience, manage triggers and sustain recovery.
• Develop person-centred treatment plans and contribute to case reviews, risk assessments and care planning.
• Maintain accurate clinical records and therapeutic relationships that meet professional, ethical and regulatory standards.
