Job summary

Priory Healthcare is seeking a Deputy Manager for a new residential addiction treatment home. You will support the Service Manager, deputise in their absence and lead staffing, governance and client coordination in a calm, non-medical setting.

The role starts around December 2026 with a January opening after DBS disclosure checks are completed; experience in addiction or mental health services is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Senior role in a residential or supported living service.
• Proven ability to manage teams and lead staff performance.
• Overseeing day-to-day operations in a regulated environment.
• Successful disclosure at an appropriate level (DBS, Access NI or Disclosure Scotland)

Responsibilities

• Support the Service Manager in delivering a safe, structured, recovery-focused residential service for people with addiction.
• Lead day-to-day operations, ensuring high standards of care, safety and governance.
• Deputise for the Service Manager, taking responsibility for the service in their absence.
• Oversee staffing levels, rota planning and deployment to keep staffing safe at all times.
• Provide, manage and coordinate support for clients.
• Support client admissions, ensuring the service and staff are prepared to meet individual needs.
• Promote Priory's Restore Positive Culture, encouraging accountability, learning and continuous improvement
