Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust's Ophthalmology/Optometry department seeks a GOC-registered Resident Optometrist for a one-year post at St James's University Hospital. The role focuses on refraction (adult and paediatric), contact lenses, low vision, dispensing and keratoconus monitoring, with scope to learn in enhanced clinics.

Qualifikationen

• GOC-registered optometrist
• Experience in hospital settings is preferred
• Keen to pursue a career within secondary care optometry

Aufgaben

• Deliver core optometric services to high standards including refraction, contact lenses, low vision and dispensing.
• Develop skills in enhanced clinics such as corneal, glaucoma, acute referral and medical retina with senior support.
• Undertake delegated administrative responsibilities as required by Head of Optometry or senior colleagues
