Job summary

Velocity Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Resident Liaison Officer for SHDF and retrofit projects in Bracknell. You will be the main contact for residents, coordinating between residents, site teams and clients to minimise disruption and ensure clear communication throughout the programme.

Ideal candidates will have experience in social housing or planned maintenance, with SHDF/energy efficiency exposure, excellent communication, and a full UK driving licence to travel locally as required.

Qualifications

• Experience as Resident Liaison Officer in social housing, planned maintenance or refurbishment.
• Experience on SHDF, retrofit or energy efficiency programmes is advantageous.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Confident dealing with residents, including vulnerable tenants.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• A proactive, professional and approachable manner.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel locally.

Responsibilities

• Act as the main point of contact for residents throughout SHDF and retrofit programmes.
• Liaise with residents before, during and after works to keep them informed.
• Arrange appointments, access and surveys to support smooth delivery of works.
• Manage resident queries, complaints and concerns professionally.
• Carry out resident satisfaction surveys and maintain accurate records.
• Work closely with site managers, subcontractors and the wider project team.
• Support vulnerable residents and ensure their needs are considered.
• Help ensure works are delivered efficiently while maintaining high resident satisfaction.
