Job summary

Velocity Recruitment Ltd is partnering with a reputable main contractor to recruit an experienced Resident Liaison Officer for retrofit and SHDF works across occupied properties in Bracknell. You will be the primary point of contact for residents, explaining works, timelines, and disruption while coordinating access with site teams.

We seek a proactive communicator with knowledge of retrofit/SHDF programmes, a full UK driving licence, and the ability to manage resident expectations.

Qualifications

• Experience as Resident Liaison Officer in social housing or retrofit projects.
• Understanding of retrofit/SHDF or energy-efficiency programmes.
• Experience working on occupied properties and managing resident expectations.
• Full UK driving licence and own vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Acting as the main point of contact for residents during retrofit and SHDF works.
• Liaising with residents to explain the scope of works, timescales and potential disruption.
• Arranging access to properties and coordinating appointments with site teams and subcontractors.
• Supporting the delivery of energy-efficiency improvements across occupied street properties.
• Managing resident queries, concerns and complaints professionally and efficiently.
• Carrying out resident visits and keeping accurate records of communications, access arrangements and feedback.
• Working closely with Site Managers, Project Managers and client representatives to resolve issues and minimise disruption.
• Monitoring resident satisfaction and ensuring a positive customer experience throughout the programme.
• Supporting the smooth delivery of works in line with programme requirements and quality standards.
