Job summary

Randstad CPE is seeking an experienced Resident Liaison Officer to join a busy social housing refurbishment project in West Bromwich. This immediate temporary assignment starts Monday, 28th September 2026 and runs until 17th October 2026, with potential extension.

You will coordinate between residents, contractors and site management, communicate plans, conduct pre-start checks, manage access, and handle on-site queries to maintain schedules and high resident satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Resident Liaison Officer in occupied social housing or similar contracts.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organisational and stakeholder management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary link between tenants, site management and client representatives.
• Issue clear notices, newsletters and appointment letters to residents prior to work.
• Carry out pre-entry dilapidation checks and record resident needs.
• Collaborate with sub-contractors to secure access and keep works on schedule.
• Resolve queries and complaints quickly and empathetically on site.
• Conduct handovers with tenants to achieve high satisfaction scores.
