Job summary

Avery Healthcare Group is seeking a Food and Beverage Team Member to support dining services at its London-area care home. You will help residents choose meals, maintain attractive dining areas, and ensure a pleasant, hygienic front-of-house experience for all residents.

The role emphasizes compassionate service and adherence to dietary needs, with shifts including early/late and weekend hours in a warm, resident-centered environment.

Qualifications

• High standards of personal hygiene.
• Experience in a similar setting, restaurant, or hotel would be desirable.
• A basic Food Hygiene certificate would be beneficial.
• Demonstrate compassion and commitment to the delivery of culinary services to residents.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with choosing meals during dining.
• Set dining tables in line with standard operating procedures.
• Keep front of house clean, tidy and well-presented; remove and replenish dirty crockery throughout the day.
• Ensure fresh homemade cakes/biscuits are accessible in the bistro areas and replenish finger food and fresh fruit options.
• Be aware of residents' dietary requirements.
