Job summary

Avery Healthcare Group is seeking a warm, enthusiastic Food and Beverage Team Member for Moorlands Lodge Care Home in Surrey. You will support dining service, assist residents with meals, and help maintain a welcoming front-of-house environment.

Full-time (37.5 hours/week) and part-time (24 hours/week) positions are available. A DBS check will be completed by Avery; proof of right to work in the UK is required; prior hospitality experience and a basic Food Hygiene Certificate are advantageous.

Qualifications

• High standards of personal hygiene.
• Experience in a similar setting, restaurant, or hotel is desirable.
• A Basic Food Hygiene Certificate is beneficial.
• Demonstrate compassion and commitment to residents.

Responsibilities

• Support the residents with choosing their meal options when dining.
• Ensure that dining tables are set according to SOPs.
• Keep front of house clean, tidy and well-presented; remove and replenish dirty crockery.
• Ensure fresh homemade cakes/biscuits are accessible in the bistro areas and replenish throughout the day, plus finger food and fresh fruit options.
• Be aware of residents' dietary requirements.
