Job summary

The Housing Network (THN) is looking for a dedicated cleaner to join our supported housing team in the UK. You will help maintain the presentation of vacant properties and living spaces, ensuring safety and high standards for residents and staff. A natural caring approach and professional curiosity are essential.

You will work to keep void properties in good order, report hazards, and support our safeguarding commitments while representing THN with professionalism and care.

Qualifications

• Cleaning experience in residential settings.
• Excellent communication with residents and colleagues.
• Ability to use applications to report works (IT literacy).
• Professional curiosity and safeguarding awareness.
• Highly organised with a high standard of cleaning.
• Resilient under pressure and able to multi-task.
• Able to prioritise tasks and work solo or in a team.
• Hold a Full UK driving licence (manual).

Responsibilities

• Carry out scheduled cleaning and maintenance of void properties.
• Clean rooms and communal areas to a high standard.
• Prepare void rooms for new residents and remove rubbish suitably.
• Check appliances for hazards in kitchens and laundries.
• Ensure communal areas are hygienic and well maintained.
• Report repairs to the maintenance office team.
• Carry out sharps sweeps and follow COSHH and policies.
