Job summary

Hyperion Partners Limited is recruiting an experienced Maintenance Operative for two high-quality residential communities in Manchester. You’ll be the first point of contact for maintenance issues within residents’ apartments and communal areas, combining practical skills with excellent customer service to uphold high site standards.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years' maintenance experience.
• Experience in Build to Rent or residential properties preferred.
• Knowledge of plumbing, painting and joinery.
• Health & safety knowledge is essential.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out reactive and planned maintenance within apartments and communal areas.
• Completing minor plumbing, joinery, painting and decorating repairs.
• Acting as the first response to maintenance issues reported by residents.
• Carrying out pre-let and apartment turnaround works.
• Completing painting and decorating works as part of apartment turns.
• Diagnosing maintenance issues and completing repairs where possible.
• Escalating specialist or more complex works to the appropriate contractor.
• Working closely with other Maintenance Operatives to ensure works are completed efficiently.
• Liaising with Front of House and site management regarding outstanding maintenance requests.
