Job summary

Athena Care Homes is seeking a creative and organised Resident Experience Lead for Ashlynn Grange in Peterborough, Cambridgeshire. You will lead a Connected Living approach across the home, shaping meaningful resident engagement through activities, events and community partnerships.

You'll work with multiple departments, guiding a diverse programme and ensuring every resident experiences purpose, connection and choice in daily life. Some evenings/weekends event support may be required.

Qualifications

• Experience planning and coordinating activities, events and engagement programmes within a care, health, community, hospitality or other person-centred environment.
• Ability to lead others, manage priorities and turn creative ideas into meaningful experiences.
• Strong relationship-building with residents, families and external partners.

Responsibilities

• Lead and embed the Connected Living model across Ashlynn Grange and inspire colleagues to contribute to the resident experience.
• Plan and coordinate a varied programme of meaningful activities and engagement based on residents’ interests.
• Create opportunities for residents to engage in individual, small-group and community experiences.
• Organise memorable events, outings and external experiences with resident input on what to do and where to go.
• Build relationships with residents and families to shape everyday life within the home.
• Develop connections with local schools, community groups, charities and volunteers.
• Lead and support the Resident Experience team and monitor engagement and feedback.
• Encourage cross-department collaboration to make engagement everyone's responsibility.
