Job summary

Athena Care Homes Ltd is seeking a creative and organised Resident Experience Lead for Amberley Hall. You will shape the resident experience through meaningful engagement, activities, and events, inspiring teams across the home.

You'll lead that connected Living approach, collaborating with Heads of Department to embed person‑centred care and ensure residents have opportunities to live a meaningful, connected life in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Experience planning and coordinating activities, events or engagement programmes in care, health, community, hospitality or similar environments.
• Strong organisational skills with ability to manage multiple priorities and turn ideas into well‑planned experiences.
• Ability to build positive relationships with residents, families, volunteers, community groups and external partners.
• Understands person‑centred care and how meaningful activity supports wellbeing, independence and belonging.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the resident experience at Amberley Hall across the home.
• Plan and coordinate a varied programme of meaningful activities and engagement tailored to residents.
• Create opportunities for residents to engage via individual, small‑group, group or spontaneous experiences.
• Develop connections with local schools, community groups and charities to keep residents active in the community.
• Oversee the home’s volunteer programme and support the Resident Experience/Lifestyles team.
