Job summary

Wales & West Housing is seeking a Repairs Coordinator to support our two award-winning companies across Wales. You will manage repairs, servicing and safety testing, coordinate with subsidiary contractors, and drive timely delivery of maintenance and compliance tasks.

The role requires a customer-focused, organised individual who can handle calls, emails and complex situations, deliver high-quality service, and maintain an efficient asset management approach.

Qualifications

• Experience in repairs, maintenance and compliance within a social housing environment.
• Ability to collect, record and monitor data.
• Ability to use ICT software programmes effectively.
• A customer focused and empathetic approach to dealing with residents.
• The ability to work under pressure effectively.

Responsibilities

• Deliver excellent repairs, testing and servicing services to customers.
• Be part of the in-house repairs teams who deliver customer focused services, maximising opportunities to achieve improved VFM and high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Be part of the team responsible for the effective delivery of the reactive electrical and heating repairs service.
• Lead on the delivery of electrical and gas safety tasks.
• Support the delivery of the servicing and testing of critical components and systems.
• Assist with the delivery of a comprehensive Asset Management Strategy (AMS) to ensure an understanding of the asset portfolio, performance and investment profile.
• Take personal responsibility for dealing with resident queries.
