Job summary

Bridge Oak Care Homes in Crewe is seeking a dedicated Chef/Cook to join Hollymere House. You will plan, prepare and cook a variety of meals tailored to residents' tastes and dietary needs, following the Good Food Guide and Head Office approvals where required.

You will lead the kitchen team, support resident satisfaction, ensure HACCP, safety and hygiene standards, and contribute to a warm, home-like dining experience for every resident.

Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and cook a variety of meals appealing, nutritious and tailored to residents' preferences and dietary needs.
• Provide guidance and supervision to the Kitchen Team to maintain a friendly, supportive environment.
• Ensure compliance with HACCP, Health and Safety, COSHH and Environmental Health requirements within the home.
• Manage kitchen stock, order from approved suppliers and maintain stock rotation for freshness.
• Oversee cleaning schedules and ensure all kitchen areas and equipment are properly maintained.
