Job summary

Moat House Care Home in Leicestershire is seeking an Activities Coordinator to deliver engaging, person-centred activities that promote independence and social interaction among residents. You will plan, organize and run a varied programme, tailoring activities to each resident and working with families and staff to encourage participation.

The role requires following safety procedures, maintaining records, and supporting residents with their interests and hobbies.

Qualifications

• Creative, enthusiastic and organised individual with a passion for enriching lives.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to plan and deliver group and one-to-one activities.
• Understanding of person-centred care and wellbeing.
• Knowledge of health and safety and infection prevention.
• Good organisational skills and accurate record-keeping.
• Able to work independently or as part of a team.
• Previous experience in activities, care, hospitality, events, or transferable skills.
