Job summary

Harrier House Care Home in Hucknall, Nottinghamshire is seeking an Activities Coordinator to enhance residents' wellbeing through engaging, person-centred activities. You will plan, deliver and adapt group and one-to-one programmes, supported by a team, while maintaining safety and accurate records.

This role requires a creative, proactive individual with strong communication skills, able to work alternate weekends and contribute to a caring, rewarding environment.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering activities for older people.
• Understanding of person-centred care and promoting dignity.
• Knowledge of health & safety and infection prevention.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging group and one-to-one activities tailored to residents' interests and needs.
• Plan, organise and run a varied programme of activities.
• Maintain accurate activity records and adapt programmes as residents' needs change.
• Work with residents, families and colleagues to support participation and wellbeing.
• Ensure safe activity delivery in line with policies and procedures.
