Job summary

Moat House Care Home is seeking an Activities Coordinator to lead engaging, person-centred activities for residents. You will plan a varied programme, tailor activities to individual interests and ensure activities are delivered safely with proper records and reporting.

The role includes weekend work on a rotating basis and offers ongoing training and career progression within Care Concern Group. Based in Hinckley area, the position focuses on enriching residents' wellbeing, encouraging

Qualifications

• Experience in activities, care, hospitality, events or similar roles is desirable; transferable skills encouraged.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with residents, families and colleagues.
• Ability to plan and deliver engaging group and one-to-one activities tailored to individual needs.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organise and deliver a varied programme of activities for residents.
• Deliver engaging, meaningful activities to promote independence and social interaction.
• Maintain accurate activity records and follow Health & Safety procedures.
• Work alternately on weekends as required.
• Collaborate with residents, families and colleagues to support wellbeing.
