Job summary

Meadowvale Care Home in Bathgate is seeking an Activities Coordinator to enhance daily life for residents through engaging, person-centred activities. You will plan and deliver a varied programme of group and 1:1 activities, tailored to individual interests and care needs.

You will build strong relationships with residents and the wider team, supporting inclusion for all, including those living with dementia.

Qualifications

• Creative and organised approach to planning activities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to plan and deliver engaging activities.
• Genuine interest in supporting older people.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver a varied programme of group and one-to-one activities.
• Tailor activities to individual interests, abilities and care needs.
• Build strong relationships to understand preferences and support inclusive participation, including for those living with dementia.
• Work as part of the wider team with training and support to develop in the role.
