Job summary

RBH Hospitality Management is seeking a Reservations Supervisor for Hyatt Place London City East in London. You will support the Reservations Manager, guide the Reservations Agent, and drive a smooth, commercially focused reservations operation from first enquiry to guest arrival.

Ideal candidates have hotel reservations experience, strong communication, and a good commercial mindset to improve occupancy, conversion and upsell opportunities across the team.

Qualifications

• Previous reservations experience within hospitality, with hotel environment exposure.
• Strong communication and guest service skills for enquiries, VIPs and complex requests.
• Good commercial awareness: occupancy, ADR, conversion and upselling.
• Experience supervising a team, guiding a Reservations Agent, training.
• Proficiency in hotel reservation systems, ideally Opera Cloud, with strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day reservations operation and ensure accuracy in bookings and amendments.
• Supervise Reservations Agent, coach workloads and maintain service standards.
• Collaborate with Reservations Manager to maximise occupancy and revenue.
• Monitor rates, packages, payment requirements and booking details for accuracy.
• Coordinate with Front Office, Sales and Revenue on group bookings and VIP stays.
• Handle complex enquiries, escalations and maintain friendly, professional responses.
• Support daily reporting and reservations administration and trends.
• Take ownership of reservations in the Reservations Manager’s absence.
