RBH Hospitality Management seeks a Maintenance Manager for Hyatt Place London City East to oversee daily maintenance and lead a proactive team. You will ensure high standards, manage budgets, and coordinate with other departments to deliver a safe, efficient guest environment.

In this role, you’ll design preventative maintenance, drive improvements, and stay current with industry best practices while supporting a dynamic hotel operation in East London.

Qualifications

• Experience in a maintenance or engineering management role, preferably in hospitality.
• Expertise in HVAC, electrical, and plumbing with a proactive problem-solving approach.
• Strong leadership skills with ability to build motivated, efficient teams.
• Financial acumen to manage budgets and negotiate contracts without compromising quality.
• Organisational and multitasking abilities with readiness for urgent issues.

Responsibilities

• Take charge of maintaining the hotel’s high standards across guest spaces and facilities.
• Lead and inspire the maintenance team with a proactive, hands-on approach.
• Design and oversee a preventative maintenance programme to extend equipment life.
• Collaborate with other departments to address maintenance needs quickly and safely.
• Manage the department budget, track expenses, and negotiate supplier contracts.
• Conduct regular hotel inspections to ensure safety and aesthetic standards.
