South Place Hotel is seeking a Reservations Assistant to deliver exceptional 5-star service to guests. You will manage reservations, answer calls on the switchboard, and provide accurate information about hotel services and events.

Ideal candidates will have experience with Opera, a keen eye for detail, and a warm, friendly communication style suited to a luxury hospitality environment.

A bit about what you will be doing

Do you love to talk? We are looking for a passionate Reservations Assistant who can confidently deliver exceptional, 5 star service to guests. At the same time, our Reservations Assistant will have the service knowledge and skills to support the team in order to deliver an outstanding guest experience whilst handling all incoming calls via the Switchboard.

What we are looking for:

• Exceptional service standards – only 5 star luxury will do.
• Someone who can create a memorable experience the guest will never forget, even though you may never meet.
• Outstanding attention to detail.
• Ability to deliver warmth, be friendly and bubbly in every aspect of the role
• Real pride and passion for what you do.
• Previous experience using ‘Opera’
• To be familiar with all hotel services, hours of operation, key people & daily events.
• Excellent telephone manner, with a strong command of the English language both verbal and written
• Previous experience of working within Reservations in a similar 5 star hotel environment.
• Ability to adapt and be confident to work alone just as well as in a team
• Flexibility to work various shift patterns and occasional weekends
• Overall you will have bags of personality, enthusiasm and a can-do attitude.
