The University of Southampton invites applications for a Research Technician position to study microglial senescence in Alzheimer's disease. Applications are invited for a Research Technician to join Prof Gomez-Nicola’s team (www.dgnlab.co.uk) to study the role of microglial senescence in the pathophysiology of Alzheimer’s disease. This project, funded by the MRC, uses human iPSC-derived microglia to explore the functional consequences of senescence, in collaboration with academic and industrial experts.
The position is available for 7 months and can be offered on a full-time or part-time basis.
This role provides a chance to gain experience with diverse techniques within a dynamic, multidisciplinary research environment, contributing to the understanding of dementia.
