Job summary

Warwick is seeking a part-time Research Development and Communications Coordinator to support the School of Life Sciences’ Research Strategy & Development Team. The role coordinates development initiatives, manages information on the research portfolio, and communicates the stories arising from the School's research.

The position is based at Gibbet Hill, with occasional travel to Stratford Innovation Campus. Hybrid working is available after training, typically one day per week from home.

Qualifications

• Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to convey complex information clearly.
• Ability to build effective working relationships with academic and professional services colleagues.
• Excellent record-keeping and information management skills.
• Experience in or familiarity with academic research environments is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate Research Development initiatives and support the School of Life Sciences’ research portfolio.
• Communicate research stories to internal and external audiences.
• Collaborate with researchers and professional staff to enhance research performance and reputation.
