Job summary

The University of Manchester is seeking an experienced Research Project Coordinator to support the YouChoose Study within the Division of Cancer Sciences at St Mary's Hospital. You will coordinate data, ethics approvals, and regulatory requirements while ensuring timely delivery of project milestones.

Ideal candidates will have GCP knowledge, strong organisational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a busy academic/NHS setting, contributing to reduced health inequalities and

Qualifications

• Degree in biological or social sciences (2.2 or above) or equivalent research experience.
• Experience coordinating research projects or clinical trials in academic/NHS settings.
• Experience coordinating clinical trials and delivering to deadlines.
• Excellent organisation and ability to manage varied workload.
• Strong oral and written communication across multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Project Manager in maintaining the Trial Master File and monitoring aspects.
• Coordinate data transfer with the eight NHS cervical screening laboratories.
• Ensure adherence to protocol and regulatory guidelines.
• Identify and monitor risks to delivery and adjust project plans.
• Facilitate communication with investigators and collaborators across departments.
