Job summary

The University of Manchester is seeking an experienced Research Project Coordinator to support the YouChoose Study within the Division of Cancer Sciences at St Mary's Hospital. You will coordinate data acquisition, regulatory approvals, and governance to ensure timely delivery of research objectives.

You will work with NHS laboratories and the project team to monitor risks, maintain compliance with GCP and research governance standards, and help produce reports for funders and committees.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with ability to work across multiple teams.
• Experience coordinating clinical trials in academic/NHS settings and understanding governance.
• Knowledge of Good Clinical Practice and regulatory guidelines for human research.
• Ability to manage busy workloads, prioritise, and meet deadlines.
• Experience with data acquisition, ethics approvals, and trial documentation.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Project Manager in maintaining the Trial Master File and monitoring activities.
• Collate and transfer linked clinical data with NHS laboratories securely and confidentially.
• Ensure adherence to the protocol and regulatory guidelines across the team.
• Identify and monitor risks to delivery, adjust project plans as directed, meet timelines.
• Coordinate communications with University departments, other universities, and NHS organisations.
