Job summary

The University of Manchester is seeking a Research Project Coordinator to support the YouChoose Study within the Division of Cancer Sciences. The role involves coordinating clinical research activities, ensuring governance and regulatory compliance, and managing data flow with NHS laboratories.

We value proactive, well-organised candidates with GCP knowledge and excellent communication skills who can work across departments and NHS partners to deliver study objectives.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience coordinating research projects or clinical trials.
• Understanding of research governance in academic/NHS settings.
• Ability to manage busy workloads and meet deadlines.
• Good knowledge of Good Clinical Practice and regulatory guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the Trial Master File and monitor project aspects.
• Coordinate data transfer with NHS cervical screening laboratories.
• Ensure adherence to protocol and regulatory guidelines.
• Monitor risks and adjust project plans to meet timelines.
• Foster effective communication with investigators and collaborators across departments and NHS.
