Job summary

The Mersey and West Lancashire Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust is recruiting a Research Development and Innovation Project Support Officer to join the Research Team. You will provide day-to-day administrative support for research studies and assist the Research Management Team with promotion, delivery and reporting of research activities.

Under minimal supervision you will act as a point of contact for study queries, help prepare study documentation for approvals, coordinate meetings, manage data

Qualifications

• Administrative experience within a research or clinical setting is desirable.
• Ability to manage data accurately and maintain confidentiality.
• Effective communication with internal/external stakeholders.
• Ability to prioritise and coordinate multiple tasks in a busy team.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day administration of research studies to enable researchers and study teams.
• Support recruitment processes for patients into research studies.
• Coordinate meetings and assist with delivery and reporting of research activities.
• Prepare study documents for ethical and trust approvals and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Maintain data quality, review datasets and support statistical analysis.
• Liaise with Clinical Trials Units and other staff as required.
• Maintain study information in EDGE/REDA and other systems.
• Assist in annual reports, plans and departmental documents.
