Job summary

The Royal Berkshire NHS Foundation Trust invites applications for a Research Nurse to join the Urgent Care research team. You will lead and deliver NIHR Portfolio studies in the Emergency Department and Critical Care, driving improvements in NHS treatments and patient outcomes.

The role requires clinical nursing experience in acute care, strong organisation and communication, and willingness to work flexibly across departments with GCP knowledge. We offer training and a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with current UK registration.
• Mentorship qualification (ENB 998 or equivalent).
• NVQ Assessor is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day running of NIHR Portfolio studies and other projects.
• Identify, recruit and follow up participants.
• Liaise with multidisciplinary teams and ensure study governance.
