Job summary

East of England Community Health and Care NHS Trust is seeking a role to support its Research Team in promoting NIHR portfolio studies and expanding opportunities for patients to participate in community-led research.

The appointee will help integrate research into clinical services, foster collaboration with academic partners, and contribute to embedding a culture of research across the Trust to enable ethical approvals and efficient trial delivery.

Responsibilities

• Support clinical services to participate in NIHR Portfolio Studies, including commercial research, to develop the research culture and readiness for CTIMPs.
• Collaborate with academic institutions and networks such as NIHR RDN East of England (EoE).
• Assist clinicians and research staff to adopt research activities outside their specialist area where needed.
• Engage with portfolio studies to identify barriers, build readiness, scope suitable studies, and set up clinical trials.
