Exciting Opportunity for a Band 5 Research Nurse at Alder Hey Children’s Hospital

We are seeking a motivated band 5 research nurse to join our Clinical Research team, delivering research for children and young people. This is a fixed-term/secondment position until May 2026.

The successful candidate will be supported by the well-established Research Team. If you are organized, enjoy challenges, and wish to be part of a world-class research team, we encourage your application.

Research Experience is Desirable but Not Essential.

Role Responsibilities

The Research Nurse will be part of a team working within the Clinical Research Division, assisting with the day-to-day management of a research portfolio. The role involves working on studies across various clinical specialties, funded by the National Institute of Health Research, Clinical Research Network. Responsibilities include screening, obtaining consent, sample collection, and data collection in accordance with Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines.
