The University of Leeds invites applications for a molecular and cell biologist to study host–pathogen interactions of bunyaviruses. The post is embedded in an international collaboration with virology, immunology, and imaging experts, offering access to state-of-the-art facilities.

You will lead genome-wide CRISPR-Cas9 and haploid cell screening, followed by mechanistic dissection using advanced imaging and functional assays, contributing to high-impact publications.

Qualifications

• PhD and postdoctoral experience in host-pathogen interactions and genome-wide screening.
• Proven publication record in high-ranking journals.
• Experience with molecular biology and cell imaging techniques.
• Experience with genome-wide CRISPR-Cas9 and haploid cell screening.
• Ability to work in an international, multidisciplinary collaboration.

Responsibilities
