University of Exeter is offering a Postdoctoral Research Associate or Fellow position on a fixed-term BBSRC-funded project exploring bacterial pathogens and vectored diseases affecting UK crops. The work involves biological, molecular and bioinformatic analyses, including transcriptomic and population genomic data, as well as insect rearing and RNA interference.

The successful candidate will present progress, prepare proposals for external funding, and contribute to the Bass lab’s research

Formación

• PhD (or nearing completion) or equivalent qualification/experience in a related field.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct biological, molecular and bioinformatic analyses.
• Analyze next-generation sequencing data (transcriptomic and population genomic).
• Perform DNA/RNA extraction, insect rearing and RNA interference.
