AWD Online is seeking a Research Executive to contribute across the survey process in a varied role. You will help with questionnaire design, data processing, analysis and reporting, while maintaining strong client liaison with the research team.

This role demands accuracy, excellent MS Office skills, and good communication. Office-based in Buckfastleigh, Devon, with some flexibility for partial home-working.

Qualifications

• Previous work experience in customer service or data processing or allied role.
• Excellent Microsoft Office skills, including Excel, Word and Outlook, with a good typing speed.
• Very good literacy and a strong understanding of accuracy.
• Understanding of and interest in the survey research process.
• Positive, proactive communication and ability to work with people at all levels.
• Ability to work in a small team, manage time, meet deadlines and targets.
• Ability to use initiative and make decisions when required.
• Strong attention to detail, particularly with figures.
• Ability to prioritise workload and communicate priorities.
• Flexibility in working hours.

Responsabilités

• Design and check questionnaires for postal, telephone, online and face-to-face surveys, check and upload contact and address lists, and prepare questionnaires for data processing
• Manage printing and dispatch of postal survey materials with the delivery partner
• Process data and capture responses from paper questionnaires
• Export, clean and quality-check results across fieldwork methods, including coding and cleaning open-ended comments
• Contribute to report writing
• Work with research and fieldwork colleagues to support smooth project delivery
• Handle client queries and provide progress updates
• Line manage data-processing staff and temporary survey staff
• Provide supervisory cover and support quality management for the telephone survey team during normal office hours
• Carry out general office duties and support quality management for external quality audits
• Develop knowledge of quality control systems, the Market Research Society’s Code of Conduct and GDPR
