Job summary

Oxford Cancer is seeking a Research Data Integration and Software Developer to join the OCDEM team at Churchill Hospital, Oxford. You will help develop and maintain cancer data information systems underpinning precision medicine research.

Based in Oxford, the role involves working with researchers across the UK, using R/Python pipelines, Unix HPC environments, and data models to support projects through their lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Postgraduate CS/bioinformatics qualification or a relevant degree with experience.
• Experience with large-scale IT enterprise solutions and data pipelines.
• Knowledge of R and Python for data processing.
• Experience with Unix and HPC environments.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain cancer data information systems for precision medicine research.
• Support established database, web systems, and data processing frameworks.
• Work with HPC clusters, storage and databases to manage data integration.
• Contribute to software development projects through system lifecycles.
