Job summary

Caristo Diagnostics in Oxford is seeking a Software Engineer to join our rapidly growing Engineering team. You will develop the cloud-based imaging software powering the CaRi-Heart platform and take ownership of key project areas.

The role requires 1–3 years of software engineering experience, proficiency in Python and full-stack development, and familiarity with medical data standards (DICOM/FHIR/HL7). You will work closely with operations, clinicians, and researchers to deliver robust

Qualifications

• BSc/BEng degree in a technical discipline or equivalent practical experience.
• 1–3 years’ experience in software engineering.
• Experience with medical data systems and communication protocols (DICOM, FHIR, HL7).
• Proficiency in Python programming and full stack development.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain cloud-based medical imaging software.
• Collaborate with Operations, hospital IT, and clinicians to meet needs.
• Provide installation and technical support for Operations and customers.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines with test automation.
• Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality.
