Job summary

Cygnet Healthcare is seeking a part-time Research Assistant (2.5 days per week) to join the research and development team. The role supports the ethics process, prepares proposals and meeting minutes, and helps deliver teaching materials.

Remote work is possible, with in-person meetings in Durham as required, under supervision by a clinical psychologist. The position offers flexible days including Wednesdays and a monthly research meeting engagement, ideal for gaining research experience for

Qualifications

To have a psychology degree or other experience with a grounding in research.
Some knowledge of research methods & processes.

Responsibilities

Respond to research queries and offer support for research proposals and meetings.
Prepare minutes from meetings and collate response letters after ethical reviews.
Prepare research proposals in readiness for meetings and arrange for reviewers and attendance of researchers.
Administrative tasks such as managing research emails and liaising with researchers to follow up where needed.
Develop and deliver teaching and promotional materials to enhance research within Cygnet.
Complete audits of research folders and produce governance minutes and statistics for meetings.
Attend monthly research and development team meetings and act as lead reviewer.
