Job summary

University of Bath invites applications for four Casual Administrative Assistants to support the Research Impact Team. This role involves desk-based research, evidence collection and uploading data into PURE, with a flexible pattern of 7–10 hours weekly.

Contract runs Oct 2026 to Jul 2027. Location is Level 3 East Building, with hybrid work from home arrangements. Applicants should have research exposure, strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Background in research and strong analytical skills.
• Experience with desk-based research (literature reviews, online information searching).
• Familiarity with research information systems such as Altmetrics and PURE is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out online searches of evidence of impact in the grey literature.
• Summarising and organising evidence from external sources in a clear and structured way.
• Reviewing research information systems to identify and track research impact.
• Uploading impact case studies and associated evidence into PURE.
