Durham University’s Department of Sociology is recruiting a pool of casual Research Assistants (Grade 6) to support ongoing projects across the academic year. Appointments are made on an as-needed basis and you may be asked to work up to 6 hours per week.
Under supervision and with appropriate training, you will conduct literature reviews, collect and analyse data, maintain records, and assist with preparing articles, reports and presentations for research teams.

We are seeking to appoint a pool of research assistants to employ on a casual basis, as and when required throughout the academic year. By applying to this position, you will be entered into a pool of applicants that will be contacted as and when an opportunity arises in the department.
