Location: Glenfield, LE3 8HD (Hybrid Worker: 1-2 days in County Hall per week)
Salary: LCC Grade 12: GBP 42,498 - GBP 46,344 per annum (pay award pending)
This is an exciting opportunity for the right candidate to support the development of the Health Determinants Research Collaboration (HDRC), which aims to address health inequalities by building research evidence around wider determinants of health. The HDRC is a NIHR-funded research team led by the County Council in collaboration with local universities.
The candidate will help develop quantitative research capacity, working with the HDRC team, local data sources, and academic partners. Responsibilities include data familiarization, liaising with colleagues, data analysis, and presenting findings. The role also involves designing research ideas, writing bids, and exploring research opportunities to enhance the use of quantitative data.
